The Quilotoa Lake is one of the tourist places in the highlands that I liked to visit the most. I went with my friends to visit this place to walk along the trails and observe the lake. When we got to the viewpoint, I was stunned to see a huge volcano full of blue-green water. Then, we began to descend the sandy path until we arrived at the lake, the hike lasted an hour and a half. I saw a lot of trees around there, although I was disappointed because I saw a lot of garbage on the ground. I also noticed a lot of people camping.
Since, it was late we had to go back home, I got on a horse to get to the park entrance early. The ride was astonishing and I enjoyed this mysterious wonder of nature.
